Seesmic and Journalism

Paul Bradshaw has an interesting video thread going in which he asks how Seesmic can be useful to journalism. Any thoughts on how to integrate it? Check out the thread here: http://seesmic.com/videos/eGN3hjcw5V It seems like a great way to have a conversation with readers. Post a question, view the answers and build your story from there. What would be some of the drawback if any?

Any thoughts on this AJR article

http://www.ajr.org/Article.asp?id=4509 The writer seems to equate today's newspaper woes to difficult times in the past. Well, welcome to the Inland Northwest! I hope that didn't seem off-putting. I just like to get to know people in this increasingly fractured society. It sounds like you've got a lot on your plate in your new job. I'm pretty new to this stuff too, and my role is probably less all-encompassing than yours. But it would be great to bounce ideas around.

Hi. Thanks for the friend invite. I'm not sure we've met, and I generally like to know folks a little bit before adding them as contacts. How did you get into the Web producing gig?

Hello there! Please forgive me, but do we know each other? I've always been terrible with names, and now the problem is compounded because I meet so many people online through my blog. Please remind me...
