About Me:
My profile picture has to do with running - which seems fitting for this industry! Whether it's racing to beat a deadline, chasing down the latest scoop, balancing a pkg with producing a show and anchoring a couple more, we're always running after something. I always say I'd rather be busy than bored, and I guess that's why I love working in a newsroom - it's something different every day, with new people, new topics and, yes, new challenges. Outside of work - more running...literally! I'm not very skilled at anything else, so I run for exercise. I'm also busy around the yard, keeping up with our nieces and nephews and chasing around our four dogs and three cats.

Screenwriter Ideas

We received additional training on a tool we got a few months back - Screenwriter. We can create flyin maps that zoom to a specific location, then launch video out. Thankfully, the director n… Continue

Calling Survivor Fans!

You'll see by my station blog that I'm a not-so-closet Survivor fan! Any more out there? The finale is Sunday night, and I'm wondering who you're rooting for. For CBS stations, do you do the tie-ins? Our morning crew does the satellite talkbacks with those voted out - makes for an interesting feature, although I see the Early Show doesn't have them on anymore.

Wow! Sorry. I thought everyone knew. Talk about lack of communication.. lol.
I can't watch your newscasts anymore, but I miss you all and still try to keep up on the happenings in Topeka.
By the way... I loved the story you did on Julie and her angel Rick. It brought me to tears, b/c I was so happy for her. She deserves the best after all she's been through.
Keep up the awesome work!! ..on the web too!!
I don't do any web now... it feels so wierd.

What do I need to do to receive a silver bobblehead like the one you have in your picture?
