Who do you admire?

So when you look at the video work that is being done at newspapers, magazines and other news sites who do you admire? Who do you think has their $#*! together?

Dai Sugano at the San Jose Mercury News for pushing boundaries, using video as video and for the sheer exuberance of his storytelling.

Great example. Definitely some powerful work and a great eye.

I'm in love with just about everything going on at Las Vegas Sun. So amazing.

Also everything that comes out of Brain Storm's MediaStorm must be noted.

But I also love the sites that put lots of quick and dirty video up. If there's a fire, a quickly produced, short sequence is much more valuable to the audience than something highly produced. I'm a big proponent of having a good mix of the strategies, just as you would mix breaking text and photos with enterprise stories and slide shows.
