Talking Points Memo loves to crowd source their audience when it comes to large documents. They just post the files and wait for everyone else to sift through the mess.

KCNN has the entire book, Journalism 2.0: How to survive and thrive, A Digital Literacy Guide in the Information Age available, for free, here.

The book is packed with useful information and should prove to be a valuable resource for any journalist starting out on the wired path.

Let's begin ramping things up ASAP.

In the left column of the main page, there's a list of "Five Ways To Get Started." Check it out as soon as you're ready to, well, get started.

WJ Tutorial: Beginners guide to setting up a blog

Blogs in a nutshell:

Think of it like a series of Word documents that you can put up on the Web instead of putting them in a folder on your hard drive. They may have as little or as much organization as you'd like, but usually the most recent post ends up leading your page.

Blogs, however, are incredibly handy for journalistic purposes. Once we set them up--a… Continue
