Working on Tina

I started my Column "Portraits from Tina" about a year ago in a local Mexican newspaper. It was supposed to be a simple text from a woman in her twenties writing about the the world she lives in. The tricky part was writing in English about Mexican matters such as the civil resistance, worries and hopes in this country, fashion, economy, boy problems, poverty, corruption, sexism etc. Things that in my head are much better described in my mother tongue.

Gerda Taro - the first female war photograher
