I've been the religion writer for the Austin American-Statesman, the daily newspaper of Austin, Texas, since 2002. In addition to writing daily stories, long-term pieces and a bi-weekly column, I do my best to fill the blog beast and am eager to develop more multimedia skills. Last semester I taught a course (Journalism and Religion) at the University of Texas.
Before moving to Austin, I covered politics in Boston for four newspapers in Massachusetts.
