Hi Carlos, we don't get many visitors around these parts nowadays. Seems like the railroad went around us.

Thanks for the advice. I just got back from the annual ONA conference in San Francisco and heard a ton of interesting things that are relevant to search and SEO from Michael Rezzler, director of Digital Media and Minnesota Public Radio and Krishna Bharat, the "principal scientist" at Google. Seems like a better area to concentrate on now.

Not sure when I will give AdWords another try. I have tried "long tails" like "journalism" and "statehouse" but the CPCs were pretty high.

Google AdWords is driving me crazy. "AdWords for Dummies" hasn't been much help. I'm still having problems getting my ad to appear with the keywords I select. The only answer seems to be entering a higher maximum CPC. But I work for a non-profit for crying out loud. Any other strategies out there?
